University of Baskets Münster: With 98:55 to the league leader of Pro A!

A triumph that could go into the history books! The University of Baskets Münster conquered the lead in the 2nd Bundesliga Pro A with an impressive 98: 55 victory against the EPG Guardians Koblenz. In the CGM-Arena, the baskets of coach Götz Rohdewald showed an outstanding performance that made it the leader-at least until the competition can follow up on Friday. "We played constant and focused, we succeeded," cheered Rohdewald after the one -sided game.

From the beginning, the Baskets set a clear sign! With a furious 18: 2 start, they laid the foundation for the victory. Ty Groce and Sigu Jawara were the architects of this start, while the Koblenzers, who had to compete without four key players, hardly came into their own on the offensive. The first success of the corporation for the hosts was long in coming-only after 15 attempts did Dami Ade-Eri succeed in achieving the first point out of the game. Münster, on the other hand, played with flying colors and could not be disturbed.

dominance of the Baskets

The second half was another show for the baskets! Paul Viefhues, who came into play fresh, provided another thrust with a threesome and initiated a 14: 2 run. The Koblenzers had no chance and could no longer reduce the gap. Nick Stampley ensured the first 30-point lead, while Hogdes provided the highlight of the game with a spectacular Alley-OP-Dunk. The Baskets left no doubt about who was in charge of this - it was a game that almost looked like a test game.

The numbers speak for themselves: Weitzel contributed 20 points, followed by JAWARA with 14 and Hodges with 13. The baskets dominated the rebounds with 44 to 34 and left the Koblenz in all matters. The next game is already at the corner: On Sunday at 6 p.m., the University of Baskets Münster received the Art Giants Düsseldorf. Another victory could consolidate the lead and put the fans into ecstasy!
