Alemannia Aachen brings talent Olschowsky into goal – a beacon of hope!
Alemannia Aachen has signed goalkeeper Jan Olschowsky from Borussia Mönchengladbach. The agreement includes a loan until the summer of 2025. Olschowsky, who is 23 years old and was born in Neuss, will join his new team directly at the training camp in Antalya media-sportservice.de reported.
The young keeper is a homegrown product from Borussia Mönchengladbach. Since his arrival in 2009 from SV Glehn, he has progressed through all of the club's youth teams. Olschowsky made his debut in the Regionalliga West in 2018 and, at the age of 16, was the youngest goalkeeper to ever play in this league. Last season he made four appearances in the Bundesliga and has so far played 86 games in the Regionalliga West.
New goalkeeper and further developments
Alemannia managing director Sascha Eller is enthusiastic about the commitment and describes Olschowsky as a talented and ambitious player with outstanding goalkeeping. Olschowsky himself sees the move as a great opportunity to develop further at a traditional club in the 3rd division and would like to celebrate many victories in the process.
With Olschowsky he is the third newcomer of the winter break, after Niklas Castelle and Danilo Wiebe. In Aachen, Olschowsky will have to compete in goal with the regular goalkeepers Marcel Johnen and Elias Bördner t-online.de notes.
