20 years of the crib exhibition: Nideggen reaches 20,000 euros for a good cause!

Nideggen, Deutschland - The "Natzbreunde Nideggen" celebrate a cheering success! Their 20th crib exhibition, which took place in the Johannessaal on the weekend from November 16 to 17, 2024, brought the impressive donation goal of 20,000 euros. This sum is used for charitable purposes and goes to Lebenshilfe Bürvenich, the inpatient Hospiz Lendersdorf and the outpatient hospice service "Hortus Dialogus". So far, the nativity lovers had already collected 18,500 euros in over 19 exhibitions and eight nativity scenes, such as the GDG Heimbach-nideggen.

The exhibition was under the motto "The Wonder of the Holy Night" and invited numerous visitors to enjoy the unique cribs and the festive atmosphere. In addition to visiting the cribs, the event site also offered a cafeteria and ways to acquire figures and accessories, which means that the net proceeds directly benefit the charitable projects. Thanks to the commitment of the donors, the initiators of the exhibition, Doris and Franz-Josef Brandenburg, and Jakob Schloemer were awarded a special cup that praised their decades of commitment. Her gratitude was also emphasized in a press release, which praised the generous support of the community, such as the Aachener Zeitung held.
