Wolfsburg. A shocking incident shook the Hattorf district on Friday evening: a woman was brutally attacked during a walk. But brave witnesses hurried to help and prevent worse. The police are now looking for further information.

around 6:25 p.m. when the Hattorfer was traveling on an unpaved dirt road with her dog, she was attacked by an unknown man. The perpetrator struck her down and tried to rape her. Her screams for help echoed the streets and aroused the attention of passers -by who immediately hurried to rescue. When the attacker noticed the witnesses, he escaped towards Siekstrasse. The injured woman received first aid on site before she was brought to the Wolfsburg Clinic.

The police are looking for the perpetrator

The police have initiated a comprehensive search, but the perpetrator remains at large for the time being. According to the description, the man is under 30, about 1.70 meters tall and has a normal stature. It is described as dark -skinned with dark eyes and short hair. At the time of the attack, he wore a light jacket or vest with dark sleeves and sporty pants. The roll case that he carried with it was also striking.
