Wittmund, Deutschland - A radiant victory for the "rescuers" from Wittmund! At the weekend, the committed young people cheered when they won the coveted Kika Award in the "Engagement" category. Her impressive project for first aid has inspired and trained not only children, but also seniors. With their motto "I show you how to save", they have trained over 500 participants in free workshops that take place every two weeks.
The "rescuers" are part of the Wittmund youth work and are passionate about promoting awareness of first aid and emergency rescue. They attend schools, kindergartens and senior citizens to teach patients and use defibrillators. "We are very happy, together with our entire team," said the proud winners Mick, Teiba, Vladyslav, Sofia, Noah, Finn-Luce and Thobe.
