SV Nordenham II and the Elsflether TB fought a gripping duel in the district class, which captivated the audience until the last second. The hosts started brilliantly and secured the first two sets with 25:14 and 25:13. But the Elsflether TB was not beaten and fought back into the game, equalized with 17:25 and 23:25. The decisive tie -break had to bring the decision!

In the exciting fifth set, the Nordenhamers kept their nerves and triumphed with 15:12 - a victory that made the hearts of fans beat faster! But the joy did not last long, because in the second match of the day against the table runners -up VfL Rastede, the players experienced a bitter defeat.
