Uelzen, Deutschland - On December 23, 2024, the festive conclusion of this year's Advent calendar in Uelzen will be celebrated in front of the Old Town Hall at 6 p.m. Under the motto "European Musical Christmas", visitors can expect a varied music program in which the Uelzen Christmas angels open the last door of the calendar. Prime Minister Stephan Weil is invited as a keynote speaker, while entertainer Jörg Knör will heat the mood with a specially composed song and a Christmas medley. The works of art by Roxi Menssing, which embody both modern and traditional Christmas carols, will again be the highlight of the evening, as the Uelzen press reports.

Advent celebrations in Uslar

At the same time in Uslar on December 5, the mayor Torsten Bauer ceremoniously opened the first door of the giant advent calendar. The festive opening triggered a pre -Christmas program that offers further highlights every day at 5 p.m. until December 23, including appearances by animals and live music. The Christmas market, which will take place from December 14th to 23rd, also offers regional delicacies and handmade products, which makes the Advent season in Uslar an unforgettable experience, as the HNA reports.

The advent events in both cities have a clear commonality: the coexistence and the joy that the pre -Christmas season brings. In Uelzen, the participants can even take a Nordmann fir tree with them for a donation for the shelter after the musical event. This not only offered entertainment, but also promoted a good cause, which means that the common spirit of Christmas in both places becomes alive.
