Stadthagen rocks: The Blackberry Crowes conquer the stages!

Stadthagen/District. A musical fireworks develop in the innovation park of Stadthagen! Eight talented musicians from the region have merged into the tribute band "Blackberry Crowes" and bring the Southern Rock back to the stage. In the AWO building you have found your rehearsal room and are ready to conquer the hearts of the fans. Led by the charismatic singer Steve Smith, who also operates the Jungle Room event location in Kleinenbremen, the forces of guitarist Achim Serak, guitarist Till Kaiser and keyboardist Thomas Heimann.

The band is completed by Thorsten Kegel on the bass, drummer Andreas Schrader as well as the singers Anna Rösener and Claire Newsome. The ensemble was founded in October 2022, and the premiere in front of the audience took place in April 2023 in the Musik Box in Minden. The "Blackberry Crowes" have already caused a sensation in the print shop in Bad Oeynhausen and on the Long Night of Culture in Bückeburg!

A corona project with passion

The foundation of the band was a typical child of corona pandemic. Guitarist Achim Serak mobilized his Facebook friends and addressed rock-loving musicians. The search for a singer was a challenge, but finally he found the perfect man for the stage in Steve Smith. "The veteran of the regional country scene surprised us," said Serak about the singer's promise.

The musical role models of the "Blackberry Crowes" are the legendary "Black Crowes" and the Southern Rock band "Blackberry Smoke". With a professionally equipped rehearsal room and a high standards of your stage shows, the musicians do everything they can to inspire fans. Although the next concert on October 19 at the Kulturbahnhof Neuenkirchen Vörden had to be canceled at short notice, the replacement date has already been determined: on March 29, 2025, the band will return. The "Blackberry Crowes" have big plans - another music video is in the works, and the tours should be even more numerous in the future!
