The Tedi branch in downtown Salzgitter is closing its doors and moving to a larger branch in Lebenstedt. This restructuring was recently announced in a video about the city of Salzgitter. Tedi is a discount retailer known for its extensive range of bargains, including Christmas decorations, cleaning supplies, household helpers and toys.
The move to a new branch on Fischzug is planned for the beginning of January 2025. The new Tedi branch will cover an area of around 800 square meters. The former location in the city center was previously occupied by a Gerry Weber branch.
