Caspar-David-Friedrich-Straße, 01277 Dresden, Deutschland - Dresden- A dramatic fire hit an empty office complex in the Caspar-David-Friedrich-Straße in Strehlen in the morning! flames blazed from a window on the top floor and ensured massive smoke development, which penetrated all four floors of the approximately 75-meter-long building. The fire brigade was quickly on hand and had to request reinforcements immediately to combat the flames.

In an impressive commitment, several squads fought under respiratory protection against the blazing flames inside the building, while another squad supported a turntable ladder from the outside. Due to the heavy smoke development, the extinguishing support vehicle Luf60 of the fire and rescue station Striesen was requested to quickly suck the building. A drone relay also checked the roof to prevent possible fire spread - luckily without further abnormalities.

A total of impressive 60 emergency services from the fire and rescue guards from Albertstadt, Übigau, Striesen, Löbtau and old town as well as the rescue station Friedrichstadt. The district fire brigade Kaitz and the ASB drone relay were also on site. The Caspar-David-Friedrich-Straße was closed during the measures between Teplitzer Straße and Räcknitzhöhe to enable the emergency services free.

The operational measures are now almost completed. The site is handed over to the police, which will take the investigation into the cause of the fire. Fortunately, there were no injuries in this dramatic incident!
