Holzminden Christmas market: shine, pleasure and new attractions!

Holzminden. The countdown for the festive highlight of the year is running! Only four assembly until the Holzminden Christmas market opens its gates and transforms the city into a sparkling Christmas wonderland. From November 25th to January 5th, visitors can experience the magical atmosphere of the festively decorated marketplace, with tempting scents of mulled wine and roasted almonds in the air.

"The Holzminden Christmas market offers a unique experience in the region that extends until the first week of January," says Volkmar Stanoschek, Managing Director of Stadtmarketing Holzminden GmbH. From exciting ice rink to punch and live music-this Christmas magic promises unforgettable moments.

New culinary highlights

Visitors can look forward to new culinary delights! In addition to the traditional delicacies such as lard cakes and mulled wine, new providers bring fresh wind with offers such as flame salmon and Hungarian Lángos. Matthias Kumlehn, Managing Director of Schwager GmbH & Co. KG, emphasizes: "We are enthusiastic about presenting exciting innovations this year that did not exist."

Another highlight is the firmly installed stage, which is played over the entire duration of the market. Inga Schaper, event manager of Stadtmarketing Holzminden GmbH, announces exciting appearances by local artists. "We all invite you to participate with your own performances!"

Ice Bahn and Sporting Competitions

The natural ice rink is again the center of the event! Here ice skaters can do their rounds and fight for the coveted trophy of the third Ralf Schwager Eisstock Cup. It will be exciting from December 27th to 29th! Registrations are already possible.

For the perfect souvenir photos, a new selfie spot with angel wings ensures that invite you to "heavenly" snapshot. The popular Rhönrad from the previous year will also be set up.
