After an oil track accident in Meinbrexen: blood sample and driver's license away!
Meinbrexen. A dramatic incident (November 1) occurred in the village street! The Holzminden police were alerted after a massive oil track was discovered that pointed out a traffic accident. On site, the emergency services came across an abandoned vehicle, the driver of which apparently lost control. The car was raced over a curb, the oil pan being torn open and the road was considerably contaminated!
Through intensive investigations, the police were able to quickly find the 23-year-old driver from Beverungen. The accident happened in the early morning, around 3 a.m., and when the officers met the driver, he confessed to the incident. But that wasn't all! He was initially accused of escaping traffic.
Blood sample, the driver
The situation continued to escalate when the driver was suspected that the driver was not uncommon at the time of the accident. Blood was carried out in the hospital and his driver's license was confiscated. Fortunately, the incident remained without injuries! A towbar had to recover the vehicle that was no longer ready to drive. The amount of damage is still pending. In order to remove the danger site, the Lauenförde/Meinbrexen local fire brigade and the building yard of the Boffzen community were also in use.
The police are now looking for witnesses who can provide information on the incident! Anyone who has seen something is asked to report on 05531/9580 or by email to poststelle@pk-holzminden.polizei.niedersachsen.de. The online guard is also available at www.onlinewache.polizei.niedersachsen.de.
