Tamina Reinecke moves into the state parliament for the Greens!
Helmstedt. A change in the Lower Saxony state parliament causes excitement! Tamina Reinecke, the talented tourism and environmental scientist from Essenrode, will move up for the Greens. This was announced on Thursday by the Green Group after the Vice President of the state parliament, Meta Janssen-Kucz, announced to settle her mandate in December.
Reinecke, who competed in the state election in 2022 as the youngest candidate in the constituency, missed the move into parliament at the time, but has been on the successor list since then. Her commitment and expertise in the areas of tourism and the environment could now bring a breath of fresh air to the political landscape of Lower Saxony. Janssen-Kucz's decision, which has been active for the Greens in the state parliament since 1998, was made for personal reasons. She wants to have more time for her family that she has always supported.
a farewell with respect
The 63-year-old Janssen-Kucz, who has held the office of Vice President since 2017, is recognized as a "strong voice for the weaker in the country". The group leader Anne Kura and Detlev Schulz-Hendel paid their respect for their decision and emphasized the importance of their commitment to society. With the withdrawal of Janssen-Kucz and the move of Reinecke, an exciting change is imminent that could affect political dynamics in the state parliament.
