Süpplingen, Deutschland - drama in Helmstedt! On Tuesday morning, November 12, 2024, a 70-year-old homeowner in Süpplingen became an involuntary witness of a break-in. When he came home, he saw a stranger on his balcony who immediately searched for the width. In his hurry, the perpetrator left a bag with stolen good, which he had previously stolen from the senior house.

The brave owner did not let himself be quenched and immediately informed the police, while he was followed by the refugee burglar over several properties. The perpetrator jumped into a Mercedes Sprinter and raced away. But the police were quickly on hand! Thanks to an immediately initiated search, the van could be discovered near a forest. There the driver stopped and the passenger jumped out of the vehicle and fled into the forest.

The police left nothing to be unexpected and even used a helicopter and a drone to grab the fleeting passenger. And indeed! The 35-year-old suspect was finally found hidden and arrested in the leaves. His accomplice, the 27-year-old driver of the van, was also temporarily arrested and brought to the Helmstedt police station. The investigation is in full swing and the Braunschweig public prosecutor has already applied for custody. In the afternoon of November 13, 2024, the two suspects are shown to a judge.
