Change of leadership in the police: Hameln-Pyrmont in transition!

In a dramatic change in leadership that will shake up the police landscape in the Hameln-Pyrmont/Holzminden region, there are several changes in the police leadership! On September 1st, 2024, the talented police councilor Marie Louise Lohmann will take over the management of the Central Criminal Investigation Department from First Chief Inspector Manfred Hellmich. Lohmann, a recent newcomer to the police service, took the step into the police world after studying law in 2022 and brings her extensive know-how to the important position. Police Director Matthias Kinzel praises her as a “young, motivated and determined colleague” whose expertise in the legal field will enrich the inspection!

But that's not all! At the end of October 2024, the experienced police chief Marina Vieth will say goodbye to her role as head of operations to take on a new challenge in the Northeim police station. The returnee to the Hameln-Pyrmont/Holzminden police station in 2020 after her promotion to higher service leaves big shoes to fill! Your years of experience will also be invaluable in your new position!

New face for the application area

From November 1st, 2024, Chief Police Officer Oliver Busche will take over the helm in the operational area. Busche, who has headed the Holzminden police station since 2021, is an old acquaintance of the Hameln-Pyrmont/Holzminden police station, where he served from 2010 to 2017. After his promotion to higher service in 2019, he is now pursuing the task of leading the inspection forces and will incorporate the valuable experiences of his career!

And the management of the Holzminden Police Department also has a new owner! Chief Police Officer Marc-Dennis Pülm, formerly head of operations at the Northeim police station, will take over this post. So the inspection faces an exciting time full of fresh ideas and dynamic leadership! The police authorities are ready to take the next step and further improve the security situation in the region.
