An exciting weekend is imminent! From November 8th to 10th, 2024, the region expects a colorful program full of events that will inspire young and old. From culinary delights at the Eichsfeld sausage market to cultural highlights such as city tours and concerts - there is something for everyone here!

On Friday, the Jewish history of Duderstadt will be recognized with a city tour that is reminiscent of the Reichspogromnacht. At 3 p.m., the participants meet at the historic town hall to learn more about the city's dark past. At the same time, the Göttingen Forum Knowledge invites you to an exciting lecture on "esotericism and politics", which begins at 4:30 p.m. Music lovers can look forward to a free organ concert in the St. Jacobi church at 6 p.m., while the cabaret artist Sia Korthaus ensures laugh at 8:15 p.m.

Saturday is heralded with the Eichsfeld sausage market in Duderstadt, where regional specialties such as Mettwurst and sour cream are offered from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. There is a fairytale carousel and play mobile for the little visitors. In the evening, a Trabbi-Korso is organized to remember the opening of the inner-German border 35 years ago. The exit begins at 8 p.m. in Leinefelde and ends at 9 p.m. in Duderstadt.

On Sunday, visitors can take part in the light parade in Northeim, which starts at 5 p.m. and ends with a spectacular fire show. There is also a family concert with chamber music in Göttingen, which begins at 11.30 a.m. The weekend also offers a night flea market in Leinefelde and a bird's show in Duderstadt, which presents the colorful bird world.
