36 talents start through: Emsland squad 2024/2025 in Papenburg!

An exciting moment for athletics in Emsland! 36 talented young athletes from the years 2011 to 2013 secured their place in the Emsland squad 2024/2025. This record -breaking number was announced by Nadine Leigers, the coordinator of SC Osterbrock, at the opening course in Papenburg. A truly historical day for the region!

Head of the course Hermann-Josef Meyer, together with the former athlete Lina Kuhlmann and 19-time German senior sheaf kick master Rainer Werking, has put together an exciting program for sprint, jump and throw. Despite the high number of participants, some athletes had to be missing due to their obligations in the district squad or the multiple jump Cup in Hanover. But the anticipation for the upcoming challenges is huge!
