In a thrilling football weekend, SV Meppen and SV Drochtersen/Assel celebrated impressive home victories! In front of 9,366 enthusiastic fans, SV Meppen beat BSV Kickers Emden 2-0. Willi Evseev gave the hosts the lead with a penalty kick in the 11th minute. The Meppen team controlled the game and Jonathan Wensing increased the score to 2-0 shortly before half-time (45th+4). In the second half, SV Meppen remained stable defensively and secured the deserved victory.
SV Drochtersen/Assel didn't let up and triumphed 3-0 over SC Weiche Flensburg 08! Miguel Coimbra Fernandes scored the first goal in the 9th minute. Haris Hyseni added in the 25th minute and Coimbra Fernandes crowned his performance with another goal in the 54th minute. In front of 865 spectators, Drochtersen dominated the action on the pitch and gave the guests no chance.
