His car was discovered on Saturday at the Thülsfeld dam, which immediately triggered a large-scale search operation. Over 200 emergency services from the police, fire brigade, THW, DRK and DLRG were mobilized on Saturday and Sunday to find the missing man. Drones, boats and search dogs were used, but the search had to be called off as night fell on Sunday.

Intensive search without success

The police have not yet received any information from the public and are now evaluating data to determine Borrmann's last whereabouts. Officials rely on citizens' help to obtain new information. Wolfgang Borrmann is described as being around 1.70 meters tall, with gray hair and wearing glasses. The police are urgently appealing for information by calling (04471) 18 600.
