A dramatic search has begun in Lower Saxony! A 69-year-old man from Cloppenburg, Wolfgang Borrmann, has been missing since November 6th. The police have now released a photo of the missing man and are calling on the public to help. The man's last known location was near the Thülsfeld dam, where his car was discovered. The search for him has already taken several days and has so far been unsuccessful.
Intensive search operation started
On Saturday, the police mobilized a huge force of around 250 people, including the fire department, THW, DRK and DLRG. Modern technology is also used: drones and several boats comb the area, while two rescue dog teams support the search. Despite these massive efforts, the search had to be temporarily stopped at nightfall and continued the next morning. The police are urgently appealing for information that could lead to Wolfgang Borrmann being found. The missing man is around 1.70 meters tall, has gray hair and wears glasses.
