The great success results from the participation fees and numerous donations collected by the committed cyclists and the organizers. The event took place on June 23 of this year in Westerstede, a city in Ammerland.

Organizer Gerhard Sander was visibly overwhelmed by the great support of the participants: "We are overwhelmed by the great support and the great commitment of all cyclists," he said. Around 50 volunteers assisted at the various stations, whether with the route posts or the catering of the participants.
