On September 6, 2025, the medieval market in Hard on Lake Constance opened its doors, according to an unexpected challenge. A hailstorm had damaged the tents of the event the night before, but the organizers were able to give the all -clear shortly before the opening. The final preparations were in full swing while the weather fit and the rain stopped.
The market, which took place over the weekend from September 5th to 7th, attracted numerous supporters from Germany and Switzerland. Instead of providing just one or two pavilions, a total of four new tents were organized at short notice, including two spacious large tents, sponsored by a company. Organizer Egon Rusch was grateful for the support and lowered the admission price as a gesture of gratitude: adults now only pay six euros instead of the originally planned eight euros.
Diverse program for visitors
The medieval market in the Stedepark in Hard, which took place from September 5th to 7th, attracted with a multifaceted program. Visitors were able to experience camp life for three days, attend the historical craft and enjoy an appealing stage program. Artists like the Duo Obscurm and the Nerra Vera group provided a mystical ambience with their musical performances. In addition, visitors were able to look forward to the witch-artistic demonstrations by Fahima and the exciting fire shows by Taranis and Zachin.
The opening times were extensive: on Friday the market started at 3 p.m. and ended at 10 p.m., during Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition, for children up to a size of 1.20 meters, free admission was granted, and wasted guests and people with handicap were able to occur at reduced prices.
