The countdown is running! In Memmingen, the anticipation of Christmas is ushered in with the traditional Christkindlesmarkt. From November 29th to December 22nd, 2024, the market square will be transformed into a festive wonderland, attracting visitors from near and far. The opening will be celebrated on November 29th at 4 p.m. by Mayor Jan Rothenbacher and the Christ child himself. A special highlight: On the first Sunday of Advent, December 1st, the market stays open until 11 p.m. - a real festival for night owls!

The opening times are tempting: Monday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday until 9 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. On opening day, visitors can look forward to a long night of shopping, which lasts from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. A true shopping paradise that sweetens the pre-Christmas season!

Around 30 festively decorated stands offer a variety of delicacies and gift ideas. From savory dishes to sweet treats, there is something for every palate. On the weekends, Santa Claus will give out small gifts to the children, while on Saturdays the Christ Child tells fairy tales. And for everyone who longs for a break, there is the Himmelsstube - a heated tent that invites you to linger and relax.
