Despite the clear deficit, the home side were able to score an honor goal in the final minute. Pataman, the top scorer of Dynamo Schwerin, found its way through the Rostock defense in the 90th minute and gave his team 4-1.

The final result was therefore 1: 4 in favor of the F.C. Hansa Rostock. A deserved victory that came about through a closed team performance and tactical cleverness.
