SG Uni Greifswald/Loitz: Fifth defeat in a row - coach raises the alarm!
A shock for the regional league handball players from SG Uni Greifswald/Loitz! After a catastrophic 30: 36 defeat against MTV Altlandsberg, the Western Pomerania slipped to the last place in the table. It was the fifth defeat in a row and coach Jürgen Radloff was anything but enthusiastic: "The disappointment is deep. If we don't get the curve quickly, we have no place in this league!"
The SG handball players once again failed due to their own exploitation of opportunities. A total of 20 misses counted! In the first half, at the stand of 9: 9, the hosts delivered a weak performance and let the guests pull away with four goals. Despite an impressive appearance by Marc-Christoph Hagemeier, who scored 15 goals, it was not enough. Radloff noticed: "Maybe the head played a role. 20 misses are just too much!"
Next challenge is before
MTV coach Rudolf Föllen praised his team: "We wanted to go a lot of pace, and that worked!" His team took advantage of every chance of the Loitzer and secured the deserved victory. The SG Uni Greifswald/Loitz now has to compete against Fortuna Neubrandenburg after the point break on November 30th (7:30 p.m.). Time is pushing and the team is under pressure to finally escape from the table cellar!
