Artificial intelligence: 20% of German companies are now relying on AI!
The revolution of artificial intelligence (AI) has a firm grip on Germany! According to a current survey by the Federal Statistical Office, 20 percent of companies are already using AI technologies-a sudden increase in only 12 percent last year! This impressive development shows that the economy is increasingly relating to modern technologies to remain competitive.
A total of 84,000 companies were interviewed, of which around 18,000 answered. Large companies with at least ten employees are a pioneer in AI use. The statisticians report that AI is mainly used to analyze written language (48 percent) and for speech recognition (47 percent). Marketing and sales are the main areas of application, followed by production and service processes as well as administrative organization and bookkeeping.
obstacles to AI implementation
Not all companies are ready to take the step into the AI future. The most common reasons for the rejection are a lack of knowledge (71 percent) and uncertainties regarding legal consequences (58 percent). Data protection concerns (53 percent) also play a major role. Over 20 percent of companies that have not yet used AI do not believe in the meaning of using this technology in their company. The question remains: How long can these companies still be against the trend?
