Kassel in focus: protective shield campaign defies sexualized violence!

Haus der Jugend, Kassel, Deutschland - Kassel - alarm level red for child protection! on September 3rd, 2024, after a first rousing event, last week in Kassel followed the continuation of the pioneering #aktion protective sign, which is decisively directed against sexual violence on children and adolescents. In the "Haus der Jugend", onlookers from daycare centers, elementary schools and special educational institutions came to exchange ideas about the dark shadows of the perpetrators and the bright possibilities of prevention. The rush was impressive, and the interest was huge - workshops and lectures attracted numerous participants, at the end of which everyone knew a bit more about their responsibility and ability to act in an emergency.

Police Vice President Klaus Wittich opened the event with urgent words.
