Unloved Erbstück-Ring ensures record price at Bares for Rares!

Linden, Hessen, Deutschland - An inconspicuous heirloom has taken an unexpected turn in “Bares for Rares”. The cluster ring from the 80s, made from 750 gold and occupied with 0.75 karat diamonds, was hardly important for its owners Margit and Wolfgang Gath from Linden in the district of Gießen. In the hope of being able to sell it successfully, they brought the ring to the popular ZDF program. Despite initial fears that he would only bring 500 to 600 euros, the jewelry was in the end for an impressive 900 euros, as the Fuldaer Zeitung reported.

The evaluation by expert Dr. Heide Recepa-Zabel was not entirely optimistic because they pointed out that rings in this style are less in demand today. Nevertheless, the purchase interest in the dealer room had given strong impulses. Dealer Elke Velten-Tönnies called the ring "opulent", which apparently also impressed the offering audience. The Gath couple were satisfied with the award achieved, which was close to their desired price of 1000 euros. According to Agares Post this confirms the increasing market value for well-preserved jewelry in the popular antiquity show.

"BARES FOR RARES" remains a quota hit in the afternoon program of the ZDF and attracts regular spectators who want to experience both the emotional and the economic aspects of selling collector's pieces. With its mixture of humor and tension, moderator Horst Lichter ensures that the spectators can cheer in every episode - and sometimes the unexpected happens, as the success of the cluster ring shows. This show is now of great popularity and lets numerous rarities change the owner while the audience is watching spellbound.
