Heilbronn is celebrating: Class 6B wins the title of The Best Class in Germany!

There was great excitement when class 6B of the Theodor-Heuss-Gymnasium from Heilbronn won the eagerly awaited super final of “The Best Class in Germany”. In a thrilling competition, the class prevailed against 7M1 from the Robert Schuman High School in Saarlouis, 6C from the Hoheluft High School in Hamburg and 7B from the Saaleschule für (H)alle in Halle an der Saale. 16 classes had previously fought hard to reach the final.

The road to victory was not easy. In the first rounds, Class 6B with its strong representatives Jannika and Lukas only started the final “The Split” in third place. But at the crucial moment they showed impressive performances and overtook their competitors. After the classes from Saarlouis and Hamburg were eliminated, they dueled with the class from Halle in the last race, where they used their points cleverly and strategically and clearly won the final.

Awards ceremony and cheers in the studio

The cheers in the studio were overwhelming when Jannika and Lukas received the coveted trophy on behalf of their class, presented by the moderators Clarissa Corrêa da Silva and Tobias Krell. The highlight for the winners: an exciting school trip to Copenhagen, which awaits them as champions of the 20th anniversary season.

The celebrations were livened up by a lively DJ performance by YouTuber Fabian Baggeler, who amazed everyone with his daring test flight on a high swing. Gaming icon Fibi also asked the final classes tricky questions, while comedienne Maria Ziffy made the audience laugh with humorous interludes. The event was accompanied musically by the singer Loi, who presented her song “The Way I Want It” and also gave insights into the origins of her stage name.

The super final will be broadcast on October 18, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. on KiKA and in the ARD media library, so that friends and fans of the classes can experience the exciting moments up close.
