TSV Harburg triumphs: five age groups, five championship titles!

The gymnasts of TSV Harburg have impressively triumphed at the 2024 Gauliga Championships in Dillingen and Lauingen! With an overwhelming lead of 80 points, students C (12 and 13 years old) secured overall victory. The young talents, including Vanessa Eggenmüller and Lara Schmidt, showed an impressive performance on vault, uneven bars and balance beam, which catapulted them to the top. The entire individual podium was dominated by women from Harburg – a truly historic moment!

Successful youth and strong women

The female youth (14 to 17 years old) followed the example of the younger ones and secured victory in their age group by over 13 points. Nora Geyer and her teammates shined on the floor and despite difficulties on the vaulting table, they were not discouraged. The gymnasts aged 18 and over, who struggled with injury problems, also managed to defend first place. Louisa Herde and her fellow competitors shone with flawless jumps and strong exercises on the uneven bars.

The youngest talents, students E (9 years and younger), competed in two teams and secured first and third place. Despite strict judges and challenges on the vault, the little gymnasts demonstrated their skills. Students D (10 and 11 years old) also showed impressive performances and won by over 34 points. Nele was recognized as the best individual gymnast and the entire season was a complete success for TSV Harburg, who had the winning team in all age groups!
