Population numbers on the rise: Hirschberg surprises Beilngries!

The population registration statistics for the city of Beilngries as of December 31, 2024 show significant changes in the population structure of the districts. Again Danube Courier reported, Leising remains the largest district with 621 residents, but recorded a decrease of 15 people compared to the previous year. With 553 inhabitants, an increase of five, Wolfsbuch is closer to Paulushofen.

The current figures illustrate the demographic changes in the region: Irfersdorf now has 502 inhabitants, which means a decrease of two, while Aschbuch is the fourth largest district with 442 inhabitants (plus two). Kottingwörth reports 441 inhabitants (minus seven) and Kevenhüll 419 (minus four). None of the villages in the entire district have fewer than 300 inhabitants.

Further developments in the districts

The other population figures are as follows: Biberbach has 266 residents (plus five), Hirschberg has 224 (plus 20) and Grampersdorf has 216 (plus twelve). Oberndorf has 147 residents (down six), while Amtmannsdorf has 135 residents (up four). Neuzell, Gaisberg and Wiesenhofen also show increases and have 123 (plus five), 114 (plus four) and 108 (plus two) residents.

The smallest districts are Litterzhofen with 96 (no change), Eglofsdorf with 94 (minus one) and Arnbuch with 91 (minus four). Kirchbuch has 62 inhabitants (minus one), Kaldorf has 46 (plus one), and Leising remains one of the smaller districts with 36 inhabitants (plus one). Gösselthal has the lowest growth with 16 inhabitants, but remains the smallest district.
