Burglary wave: Mobile phone shop in Wismar once again targeted by thieves!
On the night of Monday to Tuesday, a cell phone store in downtown Wismar was the target of burglars. Unknown people broke into the specialist store and stole valuable electronic products, according to a police spokeswoman. This is not the first incident of this kind - there were similar break-ins recently in Ludwigslust and in several residential buildings in the north of Schwerin NDR reported.
Festivities in Wismar
While the city of Wismar prepares for festive days, the traditional Christmas market will take place on the historic market square until December 22nd. Surrounded by the festively lit town hall and the colorful gabled houses, visitors can enjoy mulled wine and Christmas delicacies. The atmospheric atmosphere is enriched by various events and the maritime Christmas market at the Old Harbor, where fishermen and sailors celebrate the past year in a celebratory act and set off on their last trip to sea with decorated ships, just like it World Heritage Germany reports.
Visitors can choose from a wide range of handicrafts and local specialties during Advent. In addition, a special children's Christmas market offers numerous attractions for the little guests. Cultural events such as concerts by the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra in St. Georgen Church and the opening of the art market also attract many visitors to the city and create a cheerful pre-Christmas atmosphere.
