DJK-SV Pleiskirchen celebrates 7-1 victory – Töging II on the brink!

In the football district class duel, DJK-SV Pleiskirchen defeated FC Töging II with an overwhelming 7:1 on matchday 12! This sweeping victory makes the people of Pleiskirchen rejoice, while Töging is now at the bottom of the table. Pleiskirchen jumped to second to last place and left his opponents perplexed. In other games, SV Gendorf Burgkirchen suffered a bitter 3-0 defeat against SV Kay, while SV Haiming lost 1-0 at TuS Traunreut and also remained without points. A new league leader is SV Oberbergkirchen, who beat TSV Neumarkt-St. in the top game. Veit defeated 4-0!

The Pleiskirchen team showed right from the start who was the boss in the game against Töging II. They were already leading 2-0 in the first half, and after the break it was quick and easy. Maximilian Hagl scored a brace and made it clear that Töging had no chance. Only when the Pleiskirchen team had already scored six goals did the Innstadt team score a consolation goal with a penalty kick from Stefan Mutschler. But the answer came promptly: Tobias Salmannsperger started moving on the halfway line and made it 7-1. Assistant coach Georg Wittmann von Töging was frustrated: “We weren’t on the pitch for 90 minutes.”

Difficulties for Haiming and Gendorf

SV Haiming had great difficulties against TuS Traunreut and was hardly able to make any impact in the first half. After a weak performance, coach Harald Bonimeier's team tried to break free with long balls, but Traunreut's defense held firm. Things seemed to be going better after half-time, but a shot against the post prevented the equalizer. In stoppage time, David Licata scored the only goal of the game and secured Traunreut's victory.

SV Gendorf Burgkirchen also couldn't find its way in the away game against SV Kay. After an early deficit and another goal before half-time, the game was decided. Kay managed the lead and went one better in the final phase. The spectators saw a clear 3-0, which underlined the dominance of the hosts.
