Osterholz: Mobile speed controls announced in November 2024!

In the district of Osterholz, it will be exciting for drivers, truck and motorcyclists in November 2024! The road traffic authority carries out mobile speed controls to increase safety on the streets and prevent traffic accidents. The monitoring aims to raise compliance with the speed limits to the awareness of road users. Some measuring locations are announced in advance to sensitize the drivers.

The speed measurements take place on the following days and locations:

• 09.11.24 in Hambergen - Stader Str. (B74)
• 13.11.24 in Schwanewede - Damm
• 21.11.24 in Lilienthal - Lüninghauser Str.
• 26.11.24 in Grasberg - Huxfelder Str.

The district of Osterholz carries out around 600 speed measurements annually, which take place both on working days and on weekends, during the day and at night. The Verden/Osterholz police inspection is also active and regularly conducts controls in the entire district.
