Music magic for Christmas: 15th Sparkassen concert enthusiastic!

Bad Hersfeld, Deutschland - A spectacular evening full of music and singing took place on December 15, 2024 in the Bad Hersfeld Schilde-Halle. The 15th Sparkassen Christmas concert offered the 760 enthusiastic guests an unforgettable experience with a mixture of classical music, Christmas carols and rock classics. The event, which traditionally takes place every two years, was opened by Ingo Lange, the new CEO of Sparkasse Bad Hersfeld-Rotenburg. He noticed that the concert is not only a highlight in the run -up to Christmas, but also a large part of the region's cultural identity, in which the Sparkasse shows active commitment to over 300 clubs that have received a total of more than 700,000 euros in funding. Much of the evening was devoted to the performance of around 170 participants, including choirs and soloists who spoiled the visitors with wonderful melodies, such as the gospel choir "Sisters in Action" and the talented soprano Sophie-Magdalena Reuter.

But the musical events were not limited to Bad Hersfeld. In 2024, another important event in the musical landscape is celebrated: the concert series "Sparkasse in Concert", which celebrates its 50th anniversary at the Summer Sounds Festival. On May 31, 2024, guests in Bremen will take a sound trip with the outstanding artists Charles Pasi, a versatile blues musician, and the South African singer Nomfusi, who inspires with their exciting mix of Afro-Soul and radio. The festival, which will take place in the Neustadtwall systems, attracts around 30,000 visitors every year and offers both a cultural and culinary experience with live concerts and various stands. These events are not only a return to the community, but also a celebration of cultural diversity and cohesion through music.

Both events, the Christmas concert in Bad Hersfeld and the Summer Sounds Festival in Bremen, illustrate the commitment of the Sparkasse in the promotion of cultural events and the role that these music formats play in society.
