In the festive pre -Christmas period, Bamberg is a real highlight for lovers of traditional Christmas markets. From November 25th to December 23, 2024, the famous Bamberg Christmas market on Maximiliansplatz opens its doors, and no one should miss the magical atmosphere. On weekdays, the market is open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., as reported by the Bamberg Regio . In addition to mulled wine, punch and traditional dishes, visitors can also expect a children's carousel as well as numerous stands with handicrafts and Christmas gift ideas.
