Light Sunday in Wittenberge: Lantern parade and laser show await you!

On November 10th, Wittenberge becomes the bright center of the action! The eagerly awaited light Sunday begins at 2 p.m. and the best thing about it? All shops in the city center open their doors to welcome visitors! Anke Hahn, the manager of LIW - the Wittenberger interest ring - also announces a spectacular lantern parade, which starts at 4:30 p.m. The festive train begins on Paul-Linke-Platz and promises an unforgettable experience.

Lantern parade with music and festive mood

The lantern parade is listed by none other than the Wittenberger, city leader Jürgen Schmidt. The Berlin band Cultus Ferox creates a mood with its rousing medieval skirt. Your unique bagpipe rock will inspire the participants! On the Paul-Linke-Platz, the participants can buy LED light balloons or bring their own lanterns to shine together in a festive atmosphere.

But that's not all! The shops in the city center are encouraged to make their shop windows brightly illuminated in order to create a magical atmosphere. From Thursday, the Bahnstrasse will be decorated with carousels, which provide fun and joy. The highlight of the light Sunday? A breathtaking laser show that begins at 5:30 p.m. on Paul-Linke-Platz and ends the evening spectacularly. Wittenberge will shine like never before!
