Oranienburg is investing 115,000 euros: New bus stop is coming!
Oranienburg. Surprise for passengers in Oranienburg! The city is investing a whopping 115,000 euros in a new bus stop to improve the situation. The location of the "Aderluch" stop, which is almost trapped on the property of Jette-Bath-Straße 57, is now being moved! This change will benefit numerous commuters.
The city administration has announced the construction site for October 28th. The work lasts until the end of November and promise a breath of fresh air in public transport. The stop is freed from the narrow and relocated into the south to the pedestrian traffic light. A covered shelter should also ensure that passengers will stay dry even in bad weather in the future.
A sidewalk for security!
In addition, a 65 meter long sidewalk is created, which safely connects the residential area on Rosa-Broghammer-Straße to the new stop. Sebastian Welzel, the spokesman for the city administration, praises the project: "This is how we create a safe connection for the children who drive to the Friedrichsthal primary school." The buses of lines 804 and 821 stop at this new stop, and the clocking is to be increased to 30 minutes from 2025! Currently the buses only run every hour. "That will change soon!" cheered Alexandra Heinze from the municipal civil engineering office.
