Lichterfelde. From November 20, the botanical garden Berlin will be transformed into a sparkling winter wonderland! The magical light show "Christmas Garden" goes into the eighth round and promises a spectacular experience for all visitors.

When the days are gray and cloudy, the botanical garden becomes the bright highlight of the city. Daily at 4:30 p.m., millions of lights illuminate the 43 hectare area and create a fairytale atmosphere. The two -kilometer circular route leads through 30 artistically designed installations that are under the motto "The power of nature and the magic of imagination" this season. Identifying light sculptures and video installations that will be amazed are impressive light sculptures and video installations.

For the first time, visitors can actively participate: Six microphones are ready to transform their voices into light and sound! And after an exciting tour, Christmas -decorated huts and fire bowls invite you to linger, where you can fortify yourself with bratwurst or crepes. "We look forward to immersing the Christmas Garden in the dark season in an atmospheric light," says Thomas Borsch, director of the botanical garden.
