In a trend-setting meeting, the Vienna People's Party decided to list its candidate for the upcoming Vienna election with an overwhelming majority. State party chairman Karl Mahrer said that the list represents a broad social center. "Vienna faces major challenges such as rising rents and massive security problems. SPÖ presents extensive list
The SPÖ presented its comprehensive list of candidates for the pre -submitted elections on April 27. Mayor and state party chairman Michael Ludwig will again compete as a top candidate and ensures unity within the party, as he announced. A total of 300 candidates for the state list and 297 were nominated for the constituency lists, including numerous newcomers with specialist knowledge in key areas such as tenancy law and social work, such as Presse Vienna reported.
