Neukölln cheers: Eisstadion finally open again after two years!

Werner-Seelenbinder-Sportpark, 12053 Berlin, Deutschland - Winter has its dark sides, but in Neukölln there is a reason to be happy! After two long years of the renovation, the popular ice rink in the Werner-Seelen-Sportpark finally opened its doors for all ice skating fans. On Saturday, November 2nd, the time had come: the runners can slide over the ice again and enjoy the winter mood!

The extensive renovation brought some exciting innovations. While many visitors may not immediately notice that the ammonia cooling system has been modernized, this technical upgrading is crucial for the safety and efficiency of the company. In addition, a new exhaust system was installed, which can be of great importance, especially in emergencies. The district office has therefore done everything to offer winter sports enthusiasts a safe and pleasant experience.

Neukölln in winter magic

The ice rink, which is located right next to the Tempelhofer Feld, not only attracts ice skating runners, but is also a popular meeting place for residents. It is cheaply between the Ringbahn stations Hermannstrasse and Tempelhof, near the coveted Schillerkiez. But the winter sports enthusiasts are not only happy in Neukölln! According to the Senate Administration, all ice stadiums in Berlin are allowed to open for the new season-with one exception: the Erika-Heß ice stadium in Mitte. So winter joy is very important in the capital!
