In an exciting step for the Berlin gastronomy scene, Grolmanstrasse in Charlottenburg becomes a "car-free exit piece"! This living street, known for its numerous restaurants and cafes, was selected for an innovative model project to promote strolling in City West. The plans that are to be implemented between the Kurfürstendamm, Savignyplatz and Goethestrasse were first announced in early 2023 and have now attracted the attention of the Senate Transport Administration.

The Senate Department has now officially included the project in the Berlin footpath plan.
