Disturbances on the A100
The traffic information center reports that there are also massive delays on the A100 city motorway. Motorists have to expect enormous waiting times, especially between Gradestrasse and Alboinstrasse. Technical work at the construction site has resulted in only one lane currently being available. Transport authorities say that traffic jams here can last up to two hours.
The A100 towards Neukölln is partially closed in the Britz tunnel area due to high traffic. In addition, a car caught fire on the A100, causing further restrictions. Repair work on the road between Kreuz Schöneberg and Alboinstrasse is underway, while the right lane remains closed. The traffic jam here is currently around 15 minutes.
On the B1/B5, in Alt Biesdorf Street, drivers must also expect a delay of around 30 minutes. Construction work being carried out on the roadway will leave only one lane for through traffic. Traffic is significantly hindered by the construction site, particularly on the city side.
