Constitious streets: Heavy travel from Bavaria rolls to Austria!
Reutte, Österreich - On Saturday, March 1, 2025, the start of the holiday in Bavaria caused massive traffic disruptions in Western Austria. From the early hours of the morning, the ÖAMTC reported heavy travel, which mainly affected the Fernpasstrieb (B179) in Tyrol. Here, the border tunnel Füssen was imposed, which led to significant delays. The traffic only progressed until after Reutte, as both 5min.at as well as ots.at reported.
In addition, at Kiefersfelden (A93/A12) on the Bavarian side you had to expect waiting times of about thirty minutes when entering. The construction site area on the Tauern Autobahn (A10) between Golling and throwing also turned out to be a needle. There was also a block handling here, which led to the south to traffic jams of up to 10 kilometers. In Vorarlberg, the Arlberg expressway (S16) between Bludenz and Dalaas was badly affected in the direction of travel in Innsbruck, and the traffic stuck.
The traffic situation remains tense and drivers should prepare for longer waiting times. The information on the current traffic situation can be viewed on the mobility inquiries of the ÖAMTC and the app of the club, including the Bayern-sgert-fuer-stau-in-westoesterreich "> ots.de.
