Autumnal sounds: Hunting horn brass group inspires in Johannisthal
In the picturesque Johannisthal, the traditional Hubertus Mass reached a brilliant climax! In bright autumn weather, over 120 enthusiastic visitors from near and far streamed into the festively decorated chapel. The Windischeschenbach hunting horn brass group, which has existed since 1962, created an unforgettable atmosphere with their impressive sounds.
The musical performance focused on the classic pieces from the “Hubertus Mass after Reinhold Stief in the key of ES”, which took the hearts of those present by storm. In his sermon, Pastor Manfred Strigl, director of the Johannisthal House, took the listeners into the fascinating legend of St. Hubertus, the patron saint of hunters. The combination of music and spirituality created a unique atmosphere that touched everyone present.

The service came to a crowning conclusion with thunderous applause from the visitors and a small gift from the Johannisthal House as a thank you to the talented brass group. This festive event once again showed how deeply rooted the traditions are in the region and how they bring people together. An evening full of emotions, music and community - an experience that will be remembered!
