A mysterious incident shakes the tranquil community of Zeilarn: On Thursday evening, between 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., an unknown person committed a shocking hit-and-run on federal highway 20. The driver of a mysterious vehicle raced through Kellndorf towards Schildthurn, but quickly got distracted from the road and left a trail of destruction behind!
In a dramatic moment, the unknown vehicle left the asphalt road and crashed across an adjacent meadow. A sturdy concrete sewer cover was seriously damaged, and the authorities estimate the resulting material damage at around 1,000 euros. The driver, however, disappeared without a trace and didn't care about the consequences left behind!
Clues wanted: Who knows more?
Witnesses report the shocking scene: behind the fleeing driver were two other cars with flashing blue lights, which also raced across the meadow. The police are now in the dark and are wondering whether these are emergency vehicles from the police, fire department or perhaps even the rescue service. “This is currently the subject of the investigation,” says PI Simbach. Private use of the blue light cars is also considered!
