The suspects are suspected of having cheered the murders of Hamas on social networks and have rushed against Jews. Bavaria's Minister of Justice Georg Eisenreich (CSU) described the Situation as "worst wave of anti -Semitism since the end of World War II". The numbers speak for themselves: In the first nine months of 2024, 370 anti -Semitic crimes have already been registered - an alarming increase compared to 272 in the previous year.

The investigation also includes the use of the controversial slogan "From the River to the Sea", which has already led to a dozen procedure in Bavaria. This action is the second of its kind this year and was carried out nationwide under the coordination of the Federal Criminal Police Office.
