On Tuesday, November 5th, the Rosenheim ball house shone in the shine of the volunteer! Around 300 committed citizens who work in the city's social, cultural and sporting areas were celebrated at a festive reception. This event was not only a thank you to the city, but also an opportunity for the volunteers to sit back and relax after they work tirelessly for their fellow human beings.
In his moving speech,Mayor Andreas März emphasized the immense importance of the volunteer: "It is the invisible engine that keeps our city in motion." Especially the blue light organizations, which often help in dangerous situations, were emphasized. "Volunteering is one of the most important pillars of our society," continued March. The event not only offered an atmospheric atmosphere with musical accompaniment, but also a rich buffet that spoiled the guests.

The celebration was a platform for exchange and community. Peter Höhensteiger from the Westerndorf St. Peter volunteer fire brigade enthusiastically reported on his commitment: "The great camaraderie and the feeling of being able to help others are priceless." The members of "Bikekitchen Rosenheim" also shared their passion for volunteering: "Our wages are when we put a smile on people with our commitment," said Adrian and underlined the joy they experience through their work.
