Regensburg, Deutschland - After six years of hard work, the six -lane expansion of the A3 between the Regensburg motorway junction and the Rosenhof junction is now finally completed. An ambitious project that made a total of 290 million euros!

A3 - a lifeline for the region

It is an essential lifeline for Regensburg, which, in addition to trade and trade, also combines industrial companies and educational institutions. In 2010, there were already an impressive 67,000 vehicles a day - and this number could increase to 82,000 by 2039!

This costly and elaborate expansion was included in the Federal Transport Infrastructure Plan 2030 in 2016. The patience of the road users was put to the test, but now that the highway can be accessed around the clock, everyone can look forward to future -proof road traffic!
