A93: Danger of lightning! This is where the mobile speedometers are!
Watch out, drivers! Anyone traveling on the A93 motorway on Sunday, November 3rd, 2024 should have their accelerator pedal well under control! Because mobile speed cameras are available to catch speeders. The speed trap is currently active near Kirchendemenreuth in the Neustadt an der Waldnaab district in Bavaria. The speed camera was reported at 9:12 a.m. and the speed limit of 120 km/h strictly applies here!
But be careful! The locations of the speed cameras can change throughout the day. This list is not exhaustive, so stay vigilant! Anyone who has been flashed can find support at Geblitzt.de. Remember: Adapted driving behavior not only protects you, but also all other road users!
There is a risk of high fines!
Anyone who exceeds the speed limits must expect hefty fines. The road traffic regulations (StVO) and the catalog of fines regulate the measures taken in the event of violations. But it's not just speeding that's an issue - distance violations and running red lights are also punished!
And now an important note for all technology lovers: According to paragraph 23 of the StVO, it is forbidden to have radar detectors or similar devices in the vehicle. However, anyone who has a speed camera app on their cell phone is not in direct danger as long as the cell phone is not used while driving. But be careful: an external device on the dashboard can quickly become a criminal offense!
